How do I get the MLS Assistant Access Form for my area?
There are 2 easy ways:
- Find the MLS that is local to your area by googling your city name and MLS. From there, you can look on the website to possibly find the form. If you cannot find it through the website, then go ahead and give the MLS Office a call, asking for a Registrant form for the MLS. Note: Some MLS's have specific assistant access forms, and some do not.
- The other way is just having the agent find the form for you. We recommend putting forth a reasonable effort to find the form on your own. Most forms can be found through googling.
For example, if you lived in Portland, Oregon, then by simply searching on Google you would find the MLS for the city/county is: http://www.rmls.com/ - then through looking around on the site, you could find this form which is the assistant access form for Portland, Oregon: http://www.rmlsweb.com/v2/public2/loadfile.asp?id=117
Remember, each MLS has it's own forms. For example, having an assistant access form for Portland, Oregon will not help you if you are based in Austin, Texas!
